From 1989 to today


A young mum stylist felt that children's rubber rings and arm bands looked unattractive and didn't inspire confidence when her little water babies were enjoying themselves in the pool or by the sea.  She came up with an idea: including floats in swimsuits, in an optimal position around the waist so as not to affect the  child's movements .


In the 90s and 2000s, ARCHIMÈDE grew rapidly and continued to expand its product range for boys and girls, aiming to offer even more choice whilst combining style  and  safety. The range included beach shoes, hats and caps, T-shirts and sunglasses. 


In 2011,  won over by ARCHIMÈDE's approach and confident about its incredibly strong development potential, the NOUKIE'S group bought the brand, which had such similar values to its own: quality, sophistication, kindness and simplicity.
